Glimpse of Heaven

I was playing around with "from my kitchen" last night and made this cute simple card. I'm also entering it into two challenges. @ mypinkstamper-something yummy and aslo @ cricutcardzchallenge #59-valentine card for a child.

I loved the umbrella and the rain drops. I remembered that I had a fiskar embossing plate with rain drops and the rest goes as follows.

I had some other challenges to submit to, so I incorportated them into one card.

CUPCAKE B-DAY

I've been doing pretty good with my goal of entering challenges. I made this for several blogs. Happy Birthday Robyn from mypinkstamper.com and then I really enjoy this other challenge atpaperplaytime.blogspot.com. they make it fun and eady. We needed to make anything b-day party related #35-anything-party-related. So I got a few challenges for one topic. yeh! cardztv-cupcake-challenge. Love her videos.
Supplies:
MS= framed card- the colors worked well with the color of the card. it opens up to a standing frame.
Cartridge= cupcake4 pg-27 That was a little bit difficult to figure out. The main button said N/A when I tried to cut it. Also the scalloped didn't match the size. I had to piece it together to work. I think I did OK. Any tips on this if you have the Cartridge???
Happy Birthday Pg-56- I used a glitter gelly roll pen(green star) to outline Happy
Paper=Me amd My BIG Ideas Ellen Love 8x8 pack.- Loving this paper for valentines and b-day.
The round epoxy sticker was in the pack also I just highlighted the heart to see it better. the "you" was already on it.

Girlfriend Doll

The color challenge at papercraftstar-challenge-29 was difficult for me. I would not of used these colors  together if not for this challenge.
Supplies:
Cartridge=Paisley- I'm just loving this cart. Doll #3 pg 68. I tried to flock her cape with brown flowers and it just looks dirty, I need to try a different glue next time. Her hair is Glossy accents with black & brown flock.

Brrrrific Friend

I am in sunny SoCal and find it really weird making a snowman card when I look outside my window and see SUN, but I wanted to enter a challenge today at cricutcardzchallenge #58 and it called for a snowman. Plus I have a friend that loves snowman and I had her in mind making this card.

Snow-Diamond Dust- love this stuff, still looking for a good glue for this, any suggestions?

Sentiment- made on my computer cut with fiskar scallop.
Snowflakes-MS border punch- I was sharpening the punch by cutting it with foil and liked the foil snowflake.

Love Heart Flower

I made this for two challenges,mypinkstamper and thebearyscrapdesignteamchallenge#18 I used some things I had not used in a long time like flock on the scalloped flower. I also added Glossy Accents on the heart and the LOVE.
Cartridges= Paisley, Accent Essentials
paper= Me and my big ideas-Ellen love 8x8 kit.
I used, for the first time. the centerpoint button on my cricut. the heart was on the paper and I wanted it in the center of a circle. I think it worked pretty good. I will be using this feature more often.

I made this in less than an hour for mojomonday. I had some free time and looked around for a challenge and I had less than an hour to enter it, whew, just made it. I am hitting my goal of entering more challenges for this year.  I used the following:

HAPPY NEW YEAR

My goal is to enter challenges more frequently.
I realized I work faster and get more accomplished if I am challenged. I entered alot of challenges in Oct. and that is the time I posted the most since I started this blog. Let's see how I do this year. To start below is a new challenge blog starting soon. It's a great way to get started soooooo here I go on an adventure. Can't wait to see how I did by the end of 2011.
